Properties are audited twice in the first year – 
initial accreditation audit and a surveillance audit six months later.

Subsequent audits are conducted on an annual basis.

Estimated Audit Costs

Audits are carried out by third party auditors and not directly by Graincare Ltd. Accordingly, an estimate cost can only be provided, with costs presently averaging between $300 and $350 for the initial accreditation audit and generally declining thereafter.

FarmBis Assistance

Financial Assistance is available for eligible producers through Commonwealth and State programs such as FarmBis. The Graincare program has been structured to facilitate producers being able to apply for FarmBis Assistance.

Subject to eligibility, this assistance may offer up to 75% reimbursement of costs associated with implementing Graincare – including the purchase cost of manuals, training and the initial Accreditation Audit. For further information contact your training provider or auditor.
